The procedures include:

  1. Reviewing tax returns both Internal Revenue services and sales tax returns and another agency the company is reporting to.
  2. Reviewing Point of sales reports, or other deposit or receipt process to determine sales reported are supported by reports and by deposits into the bank.
  3. Review expenses of the business to determine their validity and reasonableness.
  4. Review payroll reporting and determine payroll expense is reasonable for the business.
  5. Review rent expense and determine this is adequate according to the lease and being paid monthly without delinquencies.
  6. Review all other operating expenses and determine their validity and reasonableness

Sale of a Business & Personal Financial Statements
